Thanks a Million
A big thank you to all of our sponsors, players and partners for making our launch event so successful and raising over AED1.2 million for our chosen children’s charities.
The proceeds from the event went to the Classic’s five charity partners which are: the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Red Crescent UAE, Future Centre for Special Needs and the Gary Player Foundation.
On the evening of the Gala Charity Dinner one of the key items auctioned was a classic 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow donated by Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. This raised AED 155,000 which is to be donated to the victims of Haiti’s recent catastrophic earthquake.
